Aleisha wins Big Brother 2007

HAIRDRESSER Aleisha Cowcher was named the seventh winner of Australian Big Brother during the show’s finale.
Cowcher, who celebrated her 21st birthday while in the house, was a much-loved contestant and a favourite to win the Network Ten show for much of the series.
She defeated a fellow country Victorian, Zach Douglas, who was vying to be Australia’s first gay Big Brother winner.
During a drastically drawn-out show, a graph was shown indicating the votes to be a dead heat almost an hour before the winner was announced.
A cynic would label it a last-ditch grab for ratings.
